I’m Sarah Winford, a Senior Designer with over eight years of experience in fashion design, including five years specializing in women’s denim. I love reimagining what your favorite pair of jeans can be. My design philosophy is simple: blend innovation with timeless classics to create pieces that feel fresh now and forever wearable.

Throughout my career, I’ve developed unique denim concepts for Judy Blue, including Tummy Control, Rigid Magic, and Comfort Denim, while expanding core assortments into joggers, jumpsuits, barrels, skorts, and more. To me, denim is not just fabric. It is a space for thoughtful problem solving, where comfort, confidence, and style come together in everyday life.

When I’m not sketching or sewing, you’ll usually find me thrifting for hidden gems, playing guitar, or spending time with my Frenchie, Tallulah Mae. My creative process is rooted in radical empathy. I start by asking what the customer truly needs and then push denim into new territory that still feels wearable and real.
